Mirabell and her younger sister Klara, also known as the Bergblick Detective Agency, have a big job ahead of them — find out who stole Mozart’s violin from a room at their family’s pension in Salzburg, Austria. They’ve got it narrowed down to a few of the guests, but if they don’t figure it out in time, one of the world’s most important violins may disappear forever. All of Austria is depending on them.
It’s annual mystery day for Mirabell and Klara, with clues leading them on an adventure around Salzburg. Mirabell’s skills as a detective are put to the test as she tries to piece the clues together to figure out their final destination. A salt mine? A dairy farm? What do they mean? If she can collect all the clues, she and Klara will be in for a very sweet surprise.
Mirabell and her family are in Vienna for the Christmas season, and Mirabell is excited to help her Uncle Fritz at his wood carving stand at the Christmas Market in the Wienerwald — the Vienna Woods. She even has some carvings of her own she hopes to sell. But a whole community of animals are already living contently in the ground below the market, and they’re not very happy with their new human neighbors.
Mirabell is back in Vienna for spring holiday, and her uncle has fun plans for the entire family. What Mirabell is most looking forward to is going to the Vienna State Opera to see a performance of Hansel and Gretel. But when the two performers playing the brother and sister are suddenly unable to sing one note or speak one word, the performance can’t go on. Can Mirabell figure it all out before the show is canceled for good?
