Kimiko and her younger sister Rumi are excited about celebrating the Japanese holiday Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day) tomorrow. But when a bird ruins their chance to make a special treat with their mother, someone else must step up and see to it that on Girls Day, the two sisters feel special.

The Black Necktie

Rumi and Kimiko’s father is the kind of dad who will gladly put on a clown tie at home to amuse his daughter, but he never meant to wear it to work. When he rushes out the door for a big meeting and forgets about the tie, it’s up to Kimiko to chase him down and switch the ties before he arrives at the office. It’s a good thing Kimiko knows her way around Tokyo, but will that be enough to reach him in time?

The Black Necktie: Part 2

Kimiko races to track down her father before he gets to work and reveals that he is actually wearing a clown tie. But her father is just struggling to make it to work on time for the big meeting. Kimiko better have something up her sleeve if she’s going to save his job.

The Tea Bag Mystery

Kimiko is chosen to perform a special tea ceremony at Mr. Yamamoto’s big 60th birthday party, but first she’ll need to help solve an even bigger mystery as a rare and valuable teabag disappears.
