The Cats of Lisbon

Eva sees stray cats everywhere in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Eva has a kind heart, and she can’t just sit back and do nothing about it. But where do you start when there are so many cats? She’s going to need help, and maybe a little luck, to find homes for some of Lisbon’s furry residents.

The River Maker

Eva’s cat shelter in the basement of the retirement home is being shut down by the city because it doesn’t have the right license. In the meantime, Eva finds out that one of the home’s residents used to be a famous Fado singer in Lisbon, and his sad but beautiful songs bring tears of emotion to people’s eyes. Maybe the power of song can help keep the shelter open and the residents crying tears of joy.

The Carnival Adventure

Pinto the cat has been all around the world and gotten in all kinds of adventures. So after living the easy life in the retirement home for a few months, he’s ready for a little excitement. A trip to the Carnival parade outside Lisbon might just be the perfect thing for him. But will Pinto get through the parade alright and back home before he’s missed?

Cork Forest Explorer

Eva is excited about exploring the world, but first there’s plenty for her to explore right in Portugal. Her family takes a day trip to a cork farm to watch the cork harvesting, and the visit ends up being much more adventurous than even she could have ever imagined.
